MOHNTON, Pa. (April 1) – Behind a second-place individual finish by junior
Ari Kaser, the Vulcans placed fourth in the team standings at the Alvernia Spring Invitational on Tuesday.
NOTES
• The California (PA) women's golf team shot a 139-over 715 (357-358) at the event hosted at LedgeRock Golf Club in Berks County.
• Kaser placed second in a field of 40-plus golfer with a 20-over 164 (81-83).
• She ranked among the top five with 17 pars over the two rounds and fired back-to-back birdies on the front nine in the opening round.

Madelyn Myers tied for 11th overall with a 28-over 172 (83-89) behind 13 total pars.
• The host Golden Wolves captured the invitational victory by 15 strokes with an 88-over 664 (315-349).
• Graduate student McKyle Boreman of Alvernia earned medalist honors by seven strokes after shooting a 13-over 157 (74-83).

• The Vulcans are idle for a week before competing at the Millersville Spring Tournament on April 12 in Quarryville, Pennsylvania.
