CALIFORNIA (April 1) – The California (PA) swimming team placed four swimmers on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday afternoon.

Gabby Miller and junior
Audrey Weaver earned laurels from the organization. Christner and Miller received the accolade for the third-consecutive season, while Hornick collected the honor for a second-straight year.
Christner set a personal record in the 100 breaststroke at the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, plus was a member of three relay teams at the league meet. She maintains a 3.76 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) while completing a degree in PreK-4 education.
As a junior, Hornick established a career-best time in the 50 freestyle and was a member of four relay teams at the conference championships. She holds a 3.89 GPA while pursuing a degree in graphic design.
Miller competed at the 2025 NCAA Championships in both the 50 and 100 freestyle after registering three podium finishes at the PSAC Championships. She earned All-PSAC status by placing second in the 50 freestyle with the second-fastest time in school history. Miller boasts a 4.00 GPA while pursuing a master's degree in exercise science & health promotion with a concentration in rehabilitation science. She completed her bachelor's degree in exercise science last May while maintaining a 3.71 cumulative GPA.
A first-time recipient of the honor, Weaver set four personal records and was a member of one relay team at the league championships. She holds a 3.76 GPA while majoring in criminal justice & criminology with a concentration in law & justice.
To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative 3.50 GPA and have competed in five competitions or finished among the top-eight at a conference meet. Additionally, each institution is capped at four nominees in the sport of swimming.
Miller was chosen as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and advances to the national ballot with the CSC Academic All-America Teams being announced in three weeks.
