Don Hansen All-America Teams

BROOKFIELD, Ill. (Dec. 18) – The tandem of California (PA) sophomores Harry Radcliffe and Deontae Williams both received Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention on Thursday afternoon.

Radcliffe was honored at kicker, while Williams earned the distinction at return specialist. The Vulcans have now featured multiple players receiving All-America recognition from the Don Hansen Football Committee in five-consecutive seasons.

In his first year handling the kicking duties, Radcliffe led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and ranked among the top 10 in the country with 1.31 field goals per game. He finished second in the league with 95 total points, which was most among kickers, and sat third with a .739 field-goal percentage (17-of-23). Radcliffe converted multiple field goals in a game five times and made three field goals of at least 40 yards.

Williams collected his fourth All-America laurel of the week after previously being named a Second-Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Associated Press (AP) and Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA). He ranked second in NCAA Division II with 912 combined return yards, highlighted by three returns for touchdowns (two kickoff, one punt). Williams finished fourth in the country with 34.0 yards per kickoff return and ranked among the top 10 with 11.7 yards per punt return.

The Don Hansen All-America Teams carry out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away in 2010. Hansen started and published Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for three decades and began selecting NCAA Division II All-America Teams in 1988.
