MOHNTON, Pa. (Oct. 7) – The Vulcans closed out the fall season by finishing fifth in the team standings at the Alvernia Fall Invitational on Tuesday.
TEAM NOTES
• The California (PA) women's golf team shot an 82-over 370 while at LedgeRock Golf Course after playing 18 holes in each of the previous two days.
• Catholic (D.C.) claimed the tournament title by 13 strokes after carding a 42-over 330.
• Millersville finished second at the seven-team event by posting a 55-over 343 and Seton Hill ranked third at 64-over 352.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Sophomore
Amanda Woods posted the team's low score for the first time in her collegiate career.
• She finished with a 17-over 89 on Tuesday to tie for 13th overall in a field of 45 golfers.
• Catholic senior Brooke Smith earned medalist honors by firing a one-over 73.
