GLENSIDE, Pa. (Oct. 6) – The California (PA) women's golf team placed third on the leader board, and finished just one stroke behind second overall, on Monday while competing at the Golden Oaks Shootout hosted by Arcadia (PA).
TEAM NOTES
• The Vulcans carded a 99-over 675 (338-337) while playing at the Golden Oaks Golf Course.
• Marymount (VA) cruised to the invitational title by over 60 strokes with a 36-over 612 (311-301), marking the program's fourth victory in four tournaments this fall.
• Stevenson (MD) placed second at the eight-team event with a 98-over 674 (340-334).
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Senior
Ari Kaser finished third on the individual leader board with a 12-over 156 (77-79), highlighted by four birdies.
• She has now registered a top-five finish in three of four events this fall campaign.
• Sophomore
Angelique Epondulan added a top-10 performance on Monday after shooting a 20-over 164 (74-86).
• She tied for second overall in a field of 50 golfers with 21 pars over the two rounds.
• Marymount sophomore Eunice Chang claimed medalist honors by three strokes with a three-over 147 (75-72).
NEXT
• Cal closes out the fall season tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 7, when it competes at the Alvernia Fall Invitational in Mohnton, Pennsylvania, at LedgeRock Golf Course.
