KUTZTOWN, Pa. (Sept. 24) – The California (PA) women's golf team placed sixth in the team standings on Tuesday at the Millersville Fall Invitational, which was played at the site of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships.
NOTES
• The Vulcans shot a 117-over 693 (344-349) while playing in an eight-team field, which included seven league programs.
• Senior
Madelyn Myers and junior
Ari Kaser tied for the team lead and finished 17th overall with a 22-over 166.
• Senior
Morgan Hughes also posted a top-25 finish after shooting a 26-over 170 (89-81).
• Alvernia (Pa.) earned the tournament title by 22 strokes with a 50-over 626 (324-302).
• Senior McKyle Boreman of Alvernia claimed medalist honors by a pair of strokes after carding a three-over 147 (73-74).

• Cal is idle for over 10 days before competing at the Mercyhurst Invitational on Oct. 5 at Lake View Country Club in North East, Pennsylvania.
