BELLE VERNON, Pa. (Sept. 17) – Behind a pair of top-five golfers, the Vulcans tied for second in the team standings while hosting their annual fall invitational at Cedarbrook Golf Course on Tuesday.
NOTES
• California carded a 77-over 653 (325-328) to tie Glenville State for second at the event.
• Junior
Ari Kaser paced the team and finished third overall with a seven-over 149 (73-76).
• Senior
Madelyn Myers carded a 12-over 154 (80-74) to tie for fifth place at the home invitational.
• Alvernia (Pa.) cruised to the tournament title by 34 strokes with a 43-over 619 (312-307).
• Senior McKylie Boreman of Alvernia earned medalist honors by two strokes with a four-over 146 (69-77).
• The event featured 55-plus golfers from nine schools, including six PSAC programs.
