GETTYSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 10) – The Vulcans opened the fall portion of their schedule by competing at the Battlefield Classic hosted by West Chester at The Links of Gettysburg.
NOTES
• California finished sixth in the team standings with a 154-over 730 (355-375).
• Junior
Ari Kaser paced the team and placed 13th overall with a 22-over 166 (84-82).
• Senior
Madelyn Myers tied for 20th place after shooting a 27-over 171 (85-86).
• Franklin Pierce (N.H.) cruised to the tournament title by 43 strokes with a 38-over 614 (315-299).
• Senior Kesinee Prukmathakul of Franklin Pierce earned medalist honors by eight strokes after firing a one-over 145 (73-72).

• Cal returns to action next week when it hosts the Vulcan Invitational on Sept. 16-17 at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon, Pa.
