DANVILLE, Pa. (April 18) – A group of four golfers played as individuals at the Husky Invitational hosted by Bloomsburg on Thursday at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley.
TEAM NOTES
• Millersville claimed the tournament title by eight strokes after shooting a 17-over 305.
• Host Bloomsburg placed second in the team standings with a 25-over 313 and Jefferson finished third with a 26-over 314.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Freshman
Ben Edwards placed third on the individual leader board with a three-over 75.
• He collected a trio of birdies and shot par on 10 holes at the event.
• Sophomore
Braden Staats tied for 13th overall with a nine-over 81 and junior
Cole Villa tied for 16th place after shooting a 10-over 82.
• Millersville freshman Timothy Peters earned medalist honors by one stroke with a one-over 73 after playing the back nine at one-under.
