JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (Oct. 1) – Battling rainy and wet course conditions, the California (PA) men's golf team finished No. 12 at the inaugural Sunnehanna Collegiate hosted by Pitt-Johnstown on Tuesday.
NOTES
• The Vulcans shot a 45-over 605 (315-290) while competing in a field of 16 teams at the Sunnehanna Country Club.
• Senior
Jack Hritsko fired a team-best score of five-over 145 (73-72) to tie for 16th overall while playing as an individual.
• Sophomore
Chaz Ekoniak led the team scorers and tied for 44th place with a 11-over 151 (76-75).
• Gannon claimed the invitational title by 10 strokes with a four-over 564 (285-279).
• Sophomore Mattia Parrini of Gannon topped a field of 91 golfers by one stroke with a two-under 138 (67-71).
