iorCHARLESTON, W.Va. (Sept. 19) – Playing for the second-straight week, the California (PA) women's golf team finished ninth on Tuesday at the Charleston Invitational held at Edgewood Country Club.
TEAM NOTES
• The Vulcans posted a 113-over 681 (342-339) to place ninth while in West Virginia.
• Glenville State won the tournament title by just one stroke after firing a 30-over 598 (302-296).
• Gannon placed second in the team standings at 31-over 599 (300-299) and Ashland was close behind with a 32-over 600 (299-301).
• The field consisted of 16 teams, including three from the PSAC, and nearly 100 golfers.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Junior
Keegan Selinsky led the team and tied for 35th place after carding a 20-over 162 (79-83).
• Junior
Madelyn Myers and senior
Morgan Hughes were separated by two strokes on the leader board with Myers posting a 24-over 166 (82-84) to finish tied for 49th overall.
• Glenville State sophomore Hailey Hendershott earned medalist honors by six strokes by firing a two-under 140 (68-72).

• Cal is idle until the Evann Parker Memorial Invitational hosted by Mercyhurst on Oct. 6-7 at Lake View Country Club in North East, Pennsylvania.
