CALIFORNIA (Feb. 27) – The fourth-seeded California (PA) men's basketball team will host fifth-seeded Seton Hill in the first round of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament tonight, Monday, Feb. 27, in the Convocation Center starting at 6 p.m.

TICKETS
Cal will be selling tickets for the PSAC Tournament at the cost of $10 for adults, $5 for students (K-12th grade) and free admission for Pre-K children and PSAC students with valid ID.

LIVE COVERAGE
The Cal Sports Information Office will provide live statistics for the game while live updates will also be available throughout the game on social media. There will also be live video via CUTV of the post-season contest on the PSAC Digital Network and YouTube.

STORYLINES
• Last Time Out: The Vulcans concluded the regular season with an 80-77 loss to No. 3 IUP, the top seed in the latest NCAA Atlantic regional rankings, on Saturday.
• Cal is looking to return to the quarterfinals of the PSAC Tournament for the third-straight time.
• The winner of the contest will travel to face top-seeded IUP in the quarterfinals of the PSAC Tournament on Wednesday, March 1, at 7 p.m. 

PSAC TOURNAMENT
• Cal earned the fourth-seed in the PSAC Tournament and will host fifth-seeded Seton Hill, while sixth-seeded Slippery Rock will travel to face third-seeded Pitt-Johnstown in the first round.
• Top-seeded IUP and second-seeded Mercyhurst receive first-round byes and host advancing teams in the quarterfinals.
• The final four teams remaining will travel to the highest remaining seed in the PSAC East for the semifinals and the championship on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

SCOUTING THE VULCANS
• Fifth-year head coach Danny Sancomb has complied a 65-53 overall record behind a 41-25 mark in conference play over the last three seasons.
• Sophomore Keith Palek III leads the team and ranks third in the PSAC with 18.0 points per game average while scoring 504 points this year – the fourth time in the last three years a player has accomplished the feat under Sancomb.
• Cal sits second in the league in scoring offense at 81.0 points per contest while shooting at a 36.3 clip from three-point territory, third-best in the PSAC. The Vulcans lead the conference with a .783 free-throw percentage this year.

SCOUTING THE GRIFFINS
• First-year head coach Ben Wilkins has posted a 16-12 overall record with an 11-11 mark in league action, as the program achieved its first winning-season since the 2013-14 campaign.
• The Griffins return to the PSAC Tournament for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
• Senior Samuel Tabe leads the team in scoring at 16.3 points per game, which ranks 11th in the league.
• Seton Hill sits third in the conference with a .467 field-goal percentage and score an average of 77.5 points per game, which is sixth-best in the PSAC.

SERIES
• Cal is currently on a seven-game winning streak in the series and holds a 10-8 advantage since Seton Hill joined the PSAC in the 2013-14 season.
• Sancomb boasts a 7-1 record versus the Griffins, including a 3-1 mark at the Convocation Center.
• The contest on Monday will be the first time the two programs will have met in the PSAC Tournament.
