Bryson Lucas was named to the all-tournament team following the conclusion of the 2026 NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament on Tuesday night.
Lucas helped the Vulcans advance to the second round while making their third appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the last five years. Cal entered the tournament as the fourth seed and posted a 96-83 victory over fifth-seeded Fayetteville State (NC) on Saturday. The Vulcans then suffered an 89=73 loss at top-seeded Gannon in the fourth meeting this season between the two programs.
A native of West Virginia, Lucas averaged 22.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game in the NCAA Tournament. He scored a career-high 33 points on 14-of-21 shooting and added 16 rebounds, five assists and two steals against the Broncos on Saturday. Lucas then finished with 11 points, six rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in the loss to the Golden Knights, which entered the NCAA Tournament ranked No. 6 in the country.
Gannon sophomore Pace Prosser was named the Atlantic Region Tournament MVP after averaging 23.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game at the event. Fellow Golden Knight Lucas Morgan, along with Christian Moore of IUP and Bobby Gardner of Virginia Union, were also named to the all-tournament team on Tuesday night.
The Vulcans finished the year with a 23-9 overall record and captured the program's first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship since 2008 two weeks ago with an 80-79 win at Gannon.
