LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (June 3) – California University of Pennsylvania junior
Rachel Wilson (Warren, Pa./Warren) repeated as an All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) selection on Thursday afternoon, as she received first-team status for the initial time in her career.
Wilson was an All-PSAC Second-Team honoree last season after being selected the 2019 PSAC Freshman of the Year. In an abbreviated spring campaign, she led the team with a scoring average of 81.8 strokes while playing only three events. Wilson carded a top-10 finish at each event with a pair of third-place performances.
A native of Warren, Pennsylvania, Wilson tied for third overall at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational in April and helped the Vulcans capture the invitational title – their first in nearly four years. Later that week, she shot a 21-over 163 (76-87) at the PSAC Championships and tied for third place on the individual leader board while playing at the Hershey Country Club.
Cal U has boasted at least one selection on the All-PSAC Teams in each of the last 11 seasons.
