Dejah Terrell (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) was chosen the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Terrell recorded her second 30-point game of the season, as the Vulcans rolled to a 64-41 victory at Bowie State on Saturday afternoon. She scored 32 points (12 fourth quarter) on 13-of-16 shooting from the floor, including three-of-five from three-point range. Terrell also collected seven rebounds, three blocks and one steal in the win over the Bulldogs.
A Berks Catholic product, Terrell leads the team and ranks third in the PSAC in scoring at 19.4 points per game while shooting at a 54.5 clip (54-of-99), which is fifth-best in the conference. She leads the league and sits No. 14 in the country with 2.43 blocks per game, plus ranks seventh in the PSAC with 8.6 rebounds per game. Terrell has registered at least three blocks five times in the last six games.
Terrell has been a recipient of league accolades three times this season, as she has previously been named PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week twice.
The Vulcans are back in action when they host West Chester on Saturday, Dec. 18, in PSAC Crossover play at 1 p.m.
