BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 5) – Senior Charlie Gallagher (Kennett Square, Pa./Octorara) and sophomore Fallon Winseck (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) both competed at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Individual Championships during the initial day of the event on Saturday.

In doubles session, Gallagher and Winseck suffered an 8-1 loss in the opening round to Ivona Plecevic and Nadja Ostojic of Mercyhurst. Gallagher previously played in doubles at the league championships during the fall of 2017.

Gallagher was eliminated in the opening round of the singles flight on Saturday. She dropped a 6-1, 6-2 match to Ana Salazar of Seton Hill. Winseck was dealt a 6-0, 6-0 loss from Esperanza Contador of Millersville, who was an all-conference selection at the NAIA level the last two years at Southwestern (Kan.), at the conference meet.

The Vulcans return to dual play on Tuesday, Oct. 8, when they travel to face Frostburg State at 5:30 p.m.
