With the victory, the California University of Pennsylvania tennis team improves to 10-2 overall with a 2-0 mark in league action. Meanwhile, Edinboro falls to 10-5 this season with a 0-2 record in divisional play.

Lena Dimmer (Wallendorf-Pont, Luxembourg/Lycée Classique) blanked Anastasiya Dasik and Marija Tmusic by an 8-0 count. Junior
Jasi Witherspoon (Macon, Ga./Howard) and freshman
Holly Bennett (Kingston, United Kingdom/Sussex Downs-Lewes) posted an 8-1 victory at second doubles against Laura Lopez and Jelena Yucenovic, while juniors
Veronika Mikulis (Otterburn Park, Quebec/Heritage Regional) and
Alyssa Savill (Holbrook, Australia/Billabong) collected an 8-1 win over Julia Hellstern and Lydia Browne at the third slot.
Cal U completed the match victory with six straight-set wins in singles play. Shaw registered a 6-4, 6-1 victory at the first position against Hellstern, while Dimmer tallied a 6-1, 6-0 win over Dasik at the second slot. Mikulis extended her winning streak to nine matches with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at third singles against Tmusic. Bennett collected a 6-2, 6-1 win over Lopez at the fourth position and Savill earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory at the fifth slot against Tatiana Batalla. Freshman
Jacqueline Olivia (Bandung, Indonesia/SMAK 1 BPK Penabur) posted a 6-2, 6-0 win over Yucenovic at sixth singles.
