Seairra Barrett (Center Twp., Pa./Central Valley) repeated as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Freshman of the Week for the third-straight week announced the league office on Monday afternoon.
Barrett scored 13 points and led the team with nine rebounds while coming off the bench in a victory at Seton Hill on Saturday, as the Vulcans played only one game last week. She made six-of-eight attempts from the floor and scored seven-straight points for Cal U late in the first half. Barrett then posted four points and six rebounds while playing seven minutes in the second half.
A product of Central Valley, Barrett is averaging 5.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game as a true freshman. She has appeared in all 16 games this season and is shooting 64.5 percent (20-of-31) from the field in the last six games.
Barrett has been tabbed PSAC West Freshman of the Week four times this season.
The Vulcans return to action on Thursday, Jan. 22, when they travel to Erie, Pennsylvania, to face Gannon at 5:30 p.m.
