Daktronics All-Atlantic Region Teams (.pdf)
EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. (Nov. 25) – California University of Pennsylvania junior midfielder
Jeffrey Kyei (Tübingen, Germany/SIT Tübingen) was named to the Daktronics All-Atlantic Region First-Team on Monday afternoon.
Kyei established a career high and tied for sixth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with 24 points, becoming the first Cal U player to record at least 20 points in a year since 2009. A team captain, he led the team and ranked among the league leaders with nine goals and six assists – both career highs.
A native of Germany, Kyei is a two-time All-PSAC First-Team selection and received all-region laurels from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) last season.
As a first-team honoree, Kyei will now advance to the national ballot for Daktronics All-America consideration. The Vulcans have featured at least one Daktronics all-region selection in each of the last seven years.
