Men's Soccer blanked at Seton Hill

Griffins score twice in second half; Visco reaches 50 saves for second time in his career

GREENSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 29) – The California (PA) men's soccer team played to a scoreless first half before dropping a 2-0 contest at Seton Hill in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Wednesday afternoon.

NOTES
• The Vulcans (2-11-1, 0-8) have lost nine of the last 10 games in the series with the Griffins.
• The teams combined for eight shot attempts with two placed on goal in the scoreless first half.
• Seton Hill took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Vasilis Christodoulou in the 55th minute off a double assist.
• The Griffins added an insurance goal at the 70:20-mark with Christodoulou collecting an assist on the tally.
• Senior AJ Visco registered four saves on Wednesday to eclipse the 50-save mark for the second time in his career.
• Seton Hill finished the game with a 19-3 shot advantage after tallying 13 shot attempts in the second half and held a 3-0 edge in corner kicks.
