The win improves California University of Pennsylvania tennis team to 2-0 overall this season, while the Golden Rams fall to 1-3 on the year.

Lucie Sipkova (Pardubice, Czech Republic/Gymnazium Pardubice Mozartova), fresh off her titles at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships, picked up a pair of wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. She claimed a 6-1, 6-2 victory at first singles and teamed with junior
Lucie Rey (Geneva, Switzerland/Colombieres) to collect an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Rey earned a singles win of her own with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout at fourth singles.

Ramona Czakon (Trier, Germany/Tampereen Lyseon Lukio) at No. 2 singles, sophomore
Alexandra Borgenhoff (Alingsas, Sweden/Katrinelund) at No. 3 singles, freshman
