In the loss, senior guard
Brooque Williams (Pittsburgh, Pa./Perry) and junior forward

Senior Emily Balogh then gave Millersville a 53-52 lead with a lay-up at the 32-second mark. The Vulcans committed a turnover on their next possession and Williams collected a defensive rebound after the Marauders missed two-straight free-throws. After back-to-back timeouts with 11 seconds left, Williams spun and drove past the elbow before passing the ball to freshman guard
Megan Kermond (Adelaide, Australia/Unley), who missed the potential game-winning three-pointer with three seconds remaining.
The Vulcans shot 46.7 percent (21-of-45) – their best performance since Dec. 11 – from the field but made only two-of-eight attempts (2-of-8) from long range. Cal U also struggled from the free-throw line, shooting a season-low 53.3 percent (8-of-15). Despite shooting only 35.6 percent from the floor (23-of-65) and 33.3 percent (5-of-15) from the free-throw line, the Marauders dominated on the interior with 29 offensive rebounds, 24 second-chance points and 38 points in the paint.
