Benson averaged 9.73 assists and 3.93 digs per set over the weekend, as the Vulcans posted a 4-0 record at their home invitational. She tied her season high of 41 assists and set a season high with 17 digs on Friday in a 3-1 victory against Davis & Elkins. Later that day, Benson collected 26 assists, 10 digs, three service aces and two blocks in a 3-0 win versus Daemen. The Ohio native then posted 38 assists and 16 digs in a 3-1 victory over West Liberty on Saturday. Benson closed the weekend by again matching her season high of 41 assists and adding 16 digs and three aces in a win versus Lake Erie.
