Holmes earned the victory in Game 1 on Saturday, as the Vulcans split a doubleheader against IUP on Senior Day. He yielded one run (earned) on one hit and one walk over a season-high 6.0 innings (87 pitches) in a 2-1 victory over the Crimson Hawks. Holmes allowed just two base runners to reach scoring position until the seventh inning. Over the weekend, the Vulcans also clinched a berth in the upcoming PSAC Tournament.
