Evans posted a .545 average (12-for-22), recorded a 1.265 OPS and scored nine runs over five games last week, as the Vulcans earned a four-game sweep over Clarion in PSAC West play. On Thursday, he tallied a pair of singles and split time between right field and center field while playing at PNC Park against Point Park. Evans then went a combined 4-for-7 with three runs scored and two hit by pitches on Friday in a home doubleheader sweep of the Golden Eagles. In Game 2, the Hickory product delivered a walk-off RBI single in the ninth inning after scoring the game-tying run in the seventh. On Saturday, Evans recorded six hits, four RBI, six runs scored and one steal in a road sweep of Clarion.
