Etienne broke her own school record in the triple jump while reaching the NCAA provisional standard at the Indoor Pre-Nationals hosted by Norfolk State over the weekend. She posted a distance of 12.09 meters (39-8.0 feet) on her final attempt to finish third in the field – behind a NCAA Division I entry and the NCAA Division II national-runner up in the event. Etienne previously set the record at the 2024 PSAC Championships at 11.99 meters (39-4.0 feet).
