Charney set a career high with 12 tackles and registered an interception on Saturday afternoon, as the Vulcans registered a 31-26 win over then-No. 24 Frostburg State. He helped anchor a defense that held the Bobcats to under 300 yards of total offense, including only 117 passing yards. With the Vulcans holding a five-point lead, Charney made his third interception of the year on the initial play of the fourth quarter at the Cal 7-yard line.
