Polak averaged 23.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, as the Vulcans played three games over the last two weeks. He shot a combined 50.0 percent (22-of-44) from the field, including a 40.7 clip (11-of-27) from beyond the arc, while playing 34.7 minutes per game. Polak tallied 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists on Dec. 14 against Wilmington (Del.) in Hamer Hall. The Steel Valley product then collected 22 points and five rebounds versus Bloomsburg on Tuesday. Polak closed the calendar year with the first double-double of his career, tying his career high of 27 points and adding 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals, in an 87-73 victory on Saturday at Kutztown. The 6-foot-2 redshirt junior shot 9-of-15 from the floor, including 5-of-10 from long range, as the Vulcans earned their first win since Nov. 22.
