Bernarding broke his own school record and reached the NCAA provisional mark in the 800-meter run at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell over the weekend. He placed fourth overall in the event, and tops among NCAA Division II entries, with a time of 1 minute, 50.65 seconds. Bernarding broke the school record he set last year by 0.14 seconds and also established a season-best time of 3:52.01 in the 1,500-meter run at Bucknell.
