Black set a career high with 422 passing yards on Saturday, as the Vulcans earned a 31-27 comeback victory at Clarion. He completed 31-of-46 attempts with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the win. Black finished with the sixth-most passing yards in single-game school history, and the most since 2017. In the fourth quarter, the Ohio native completed 12-of-18 attempts for 143 yards with two touchdowns – both in the final four-plus minutes with the game-winning touchdown pass occurring with only 56 seconds left.
