McClurg averaged 23.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, as California opened league play with a pair of crossover road victories. On Friday, McClurg scored 27 points behind 12-of-14 from the free-throw line and added three rebounds and four assists in an 89-87 overtime win at Millersville. The West Virginia native then tallied 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists in a 73-70 victory at Shepherd on Saturday.
