Franklin recorded the second-fastest outdoor time in the 200-meter dash in NCAA Division II history over the weekend while at the PSAC Championships. She completed a three-peat in both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash while shattering her own championship record in each event. Franklin posted a time of 22.65 seconds in the finals of the 200 meters to eclipse her all-time league record set last week by 0.27 seconds, plus broke her meet record by 1.27 seconds. The Philadelphia native clocked a time of 11.28 seconds in the preliminaries and finals of the 100 meters to top her championship record set last spring by 0.38 seconds. Franklin was chosen both the Most Outstanding Athlete and Most Outstanding Track Athlete following the conclusion of the PSAC Championships.
