Rister posted a 2-0 record and two saves with a 0.00 ERA last week, as the Vulcans swept a pair of doubleheaders against Mercyhurst and Pitt-Johnstown to open PSAC West play. She allowed just one unearned run and two walks over 15.1 inning pitched while registering 12 strikeouts. Rister yielded one run (unearned) on six hits with zero walks over 7.0 innings on Friday in Game 1 against Mercyhurst. The Ohio native returned to the circle in Game 2 to work 1.0 scoreless inning of relief versus the Lakers. On Sunday, Rister tossed a 7.0-inning, complete-game shutout in Game 1 against Pitt-Johnstown while setting a season high with seven strikeouts. The 5-foot-4 sophomore returned to the circle in Game 2 to record the final out with the game-winning run at the plate. Rister also added a .500 on-base percentage while serving as the leadoff hitter in all four games.
