Bernarding set a pair of personal records at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell over the weekend. He placed third overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3 minutes, 54.91 seconds, which was nearly six seconds faster than his previous best. Bernarding also trimmed over one full second off his season-best time in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.57 at Bucknell.
