Franklin repeated as the Cal U Female Athlete of the Year after a record-breaking outdoor campaign. She received NCAA All-America status, won three league titles and set the school record in the 100-meter dash this spring. Franklin was named the Most Outstanding Athlete of the PSAC Championships, as the Vulcans posted their best finish in program history at the outdoor meet. The Philadelphia native swept the sprint titles at the league championships, winning the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 4x100-meter relay. Franklin broke the school record in the 100 meters by two-tenths of a second this spring with a time of 11.65 seconds.
