Brosky recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts over 7.2 scoreless innings on Saturday while taking a no-decision in a 1-0 loss against Shepherd while in North Carolina. He scattered five hits and issued just one walk against the Rams while tossing 117 pitches (84 strikes). Brosky is the first Cal U pitcher to record a dozen strikeouts in a game since All-American Randy Sturgill accomplished the feat twice in the 2011 season.
