INDIANA, Pa. (Sept. 30) – In a game that featured a goal by both teams in the opening five minutes, the California (PA) women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 contest at IUP on Wednesday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (1-7-2, 1-7-1) have lost six of the last seven meetings against the Crismon Hawks dating back to 2023.
• IUP opened the scoring on a goal in the third minute before Cal answered with an unassisted goal by freshman
Emma Ziskowski at the 4:29-mark.
• The Crimson Hawks reclaimed the lead in the 30th minute and took a 2-1 advantage into halftime.
• IUP added an insurance goal on a penalty kick at the 80:10-mark.
• The Crimson Hawks finished with a 15-7 shot advantage and held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.

Kaleigh Rexroad posted six saves while playing all 90 minutes.
• She has made at least six saves in three of the last four games.
