EDINBORO, Pa. (Sept. 26) – The California (PA) volleyball team completed a reverse sweep with a 3-2 win at Edinboro (18-25, 26-28, 25-23, 25-20, 15-11) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Saturday afternoon.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (7-8, 1-2) snapped a nine-match road losing streak in the series with the Fighting Scots, as their last road win was in 2014.
• Sophomore
Alayna Jones led the team with a career-high 15 kills on a .282 hitting percentage.
• Classmate
Olivia Weiseman finished with 10 kills and junior
Lexi Muck added eight kills.
• Freshmen
Molly Smiddy recorded her second assist/dig double-double of the year, as she posted 23 assists and 10 digs.
• Weiseman collected 12 assists for a kill/assist double-double and freshman
Gracen Hartman tallied nine assists in the win.
• Junior
Tori Newton paced the team with 27 digs, while freshman
Aubrey Bumblis added 13 digs.
• Junior
Lindsey Scammell finished with a team-high seven blocks (three solo) and Muck was credited with six blocks.
• Freshman
Abby Tucker registered 10.5 points in the win behind five kills, four blocks and three service aces.

• Cal returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 29, when it travels to face Walsh in Canton, Ohio, at 6 p.m.
