CALIFORNIA (Sept. 2) – In front of one of the largest crowds in the 15-year history of the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility, the California (PA) women's soccer team claimed a 1-0 victory against Pitt-Johnstown in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Wednesday evening.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (1-1-0) extend their unbeaten streak in the series with the Mountain Cats to four games after the teams played a pair of scoreless ties last year.
• Cal took a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute on the first career goal by sophomore
Casey Eaton with an assist from junior
Julia Flynn.
• The Vulcans made a goalie change at halftime and the Mountain Cats pressured the net with nine shots over the final 45 minutes.

Kaleigh Rexroad collected three saves in the opening half, while junior transfer
AJ Seddon posted two saves in her season debut.
• UPJ finished with a 14-4 shot advantage and held a 6-4 edge in corner kicks, including five in the second half.
