PITTSBURGH (Sept. 16) – The California (PA) men's soccer team held a two-goal lead before Point Park scored twice in the final three minutes, including the game-tying goal on a penalty kick with 35 seconds remaining, as the Vulcans played to a 2-2 tie in non-conference play on Wednesday night at F.N.B. Stadium, home of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

• The Vulcans (1-3-2) and Pioneers met for the first time since 2008 when Point Park competed as a NAIA program.
• Cal snapped a three-game losing streak with the draw.
• The Vulcans took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute on a goal by freshman

• With less than a minute remaining, Cal was whistled for a handball in the box and Hector Moreno converted the ensuing penalty kick at the 89:25-mark, 2-2.
• The Vulcans finished with a 14-12 advantage in shots with the teams combining for just six shots on target.
• Cal held an 8-2 edge in corner kicks after collecting five corner kicks in the second half.
• The teams were whistled for 31 combined fouls and issued seven yellow cards.
