BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (May 6) – Due to rain throughout the morning in the Southern Tier of New York, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) has announced changes to the schedule for the opening day of the 2026 PSAC Tournament.
California was slated to face West Chester in the initial game of the tournament today, Wednesday, May 6, at 10 a.m. However, play has been pushed back to 3 p.m., as nearly a quarter inch of rain is expected. As a result of the change, the opening day of the double-elimination tournament will now feature six games as opposed to eight games at the all-turf, lighted facility.
The winner of Cal-West Chester is set to play again on Wednesday against Kutztown at 7 p.m., while the losing team will play an elimination game tomorrow, Thursday, May 7, at 10 a.m.
