CALIFORNIA (April 4) – Facing the five-time, defending-league champion, the California (PA) tennis teams dropped a 7-0 match against No. 40 IUP at Roadman Park in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action on Saturday afternoon.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (9-8, 1-1) have served as the home team four times in the five matches since returning from their trip to Florida.
• Cal has lost the last nine meeting against IUP after the Vulcans won the 2016 PSAC Championship over the Crimson Hawks.
• IUP opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point.
• The Crimson Hawks won all six matches in the singles session in straight sets.
• IUP featured a pair of 2025 All-PSAC West Second-Team selections in its singles lineup.
