ORLANDO, Fla. (March 11) – Sophomore Garance Laforet clinched the match victory at third singles on Wednesday night, as the Vulcans posted a 4-3 victory over fellow Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-member West Chester at the USTA National Campus.

NOTES
• California (PA) was facing West Chester for the first time since the fall of 2019.
• Laforet and senior Diletta Maria Mungo opened doubles play with a 6-2 victory at the second position.
• Senior Leandra Guldimann and freshman Sofia Rodriguez secured the doubles point with a 7-5 win in the first slot.
• Freshman Fernanda Sandoval Martinez improved to 4-0 in singles this season after posting a 6-3, 6-2 victory at the fifth position.
• Rodriguez claimed her third-straight singles win with a 6-0, 6-4 decision at the sixth slot.
• Laforet clinched the match victory with a 6-1, 7-5 win at third singles.
