Ashlyn Zeier both qualified for bonus finals in individual events on Friday during the third day of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center.
The California (PA) swimming team remains No. 11 in the standings with 130 points after scoring in three events on Friday. West Chester continues to lead the team standings with 981 points, while IUP sits second with 827.5 points and Clarion ranks third with 741 points.
Zeier qualified for the bonus finals in the 100 backstroke after posting a time of 1 minute, 0.56 seconds during the preliminaries. She then placed 23rd overall in the finals with a time of 1:00.70.
McCusker established a personal best in the bonus finals of the 100 breaststroke by touching the wall in 1:08.69 to place 23rd overall. She finished the preliminaries with a time of 1:08.86, nearly one full second faster than her entry time.

Ashlyn Hornick set a season-best time of 1:52.25 at the league championships.
The Vulcans close the PSAC Championships tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 21, with preliminaries starting at 10 a.m. Cal has nine entries across three events scheduled to compete in the morning session.
