CALIFORNIA (Feb. 14) – Led by five three-pointers in the third quarter, the Vulcans erased a 12-point first-half deficit and rallied for a 101-94 victory against Clarion in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play at the Convocation Center.
NOTES
• California (11-15, 7-9) eclipsed the century mark against an NCAA Division II program for the first time since the 2016-17 campaign.
• The Vulcans finished with a season-high 10 three-pointers with four players converting multiple attempts.

Kimaya Williams set a career high with 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including two-of-three from long range.
• She added 13 rebounds for the fourth double-double of the year and tallied seven assists.

Trinity Balog registered her first career double-double with 15 points and a career-high 10 assists.

Macy Sardone scored a career-high 20 points on 8-of-14 from the floor, including three-of-nine from beyond the arc.

Kennedy Bankett led the team with 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting and was one of three starters to play all 40 minutes.

Mya Morgan added 13 points behind three-of-seven from long range off the bench.
• Clarion held a 27-26 lead at the end of the first quarter, which featured eight lead changes and three ties.
• The Golden Eagles mounted a 12-5 run late in the second quarter to build a 56-46 lead at the break behind nine three-pointers.
• Cal posted a 13-4 rally behind 10 points from Morgan in the third quarter to take a 72-71 lead with 1:28 left in the quarter.
• The Vulcans later started the fourth quarter on a 16-6 run to hold an 88-81 lead with 5:09 remaining in the game.
• Clarion cut the deficit to two possessions before Cal responded with an 11-6 rally over a three-plus minute stretch to seal the victory.
• The Vulcans finished the game shooting 54.1 percent (40-of-74) from the floor, including 10-of-28 (35.7 percent) from three-point territory.
• Cal held a slight 38-37 rebounding advantage and scored 44 points inside the paint.
