GREENSBURG, Pa. (Feb. 11) – The California (PA) women's basketball team suffered its fourth-straight road loss on Wednesday evening, falling by a 111-87 margin at Seton Hill in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (10-15, 6-9) surrendered 100 points in a game for the first time since the 1995-96 season.
• Seton Hill swept the regular-season series with Cal for the first time since the Griffins joined the PSAC in the 2013-14 campaign.
• Junior
Kennedy Bankett led the team in scoring with 24 points behind 8-of-13 from the floor and 7-of-11 from the free-throw line.
• Sophomore
Hope Hawkins posted 18 points and seven rebounds (four offensive), while classmate
Mya Morgan finished with 14 points and four rebounds at Seton Hill.
• Junior
Macy Sardone scored 13 points behind a trio of three-pointers and fellow junior
Kimaya Williams led the team with 10 rebounds (five offensive).
• Seton Hill closed the first quarter on a 17-4 run over a span of four-plus minutes to hold a 29-13 lead.
• The Griffins scored 10-straight points in the second quarter to build a 44-19 advantage at the 4:12-mark before taking a 56-31 lead at the break.
• Cal and Seton Hill each scored 28 points in the third quarter with the teams combining to shoot a staggering 24-of-36 from the floor (66.7 percent).
• The Griffins maintained at least a 20-point lead for virtually the entire fourth quarter on Wednesday.
• Seton Hill junior Mia Kalich – the 2025 PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year – recorded her third triple-double of the season with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 steals.
• The Vulcans finished the game making 47.9 percent (34-of-71) from the floor, while the Griffins shot at a 58.8 clip (50-of-85).
• Cal committed 24 turnovers in the contest with Seton Hill scoring 45 fastbreak points.

• The Vulcans return to action on Saturday, Feb. 14, when they host Clarion in PSAC West play at 1 p.m.
