INDIANA, Pa. (Oct. 2) – The California (PA) volleyball team closed out a four-match road trip with a 3-0 loss (25-18, 25-20, 25-23) at IUP in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Friday evening.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (7-10, 1-3) have lost the last nine matches in the series with the Crimson Hawks, including five straight on the road.
• Sophomore
Olivia Weiseman again led the team with 11 kills and nine digs.
• Junior
Lindsey Scammell totaled 9.5 points on seven kills and five blocks.

Lexi Muck finished with six kills, while junior
Kasie Meek and freshman
Madelyn Salisbury both added five kills.
• Freshmen
Molly Smiddy and
Gracen Hartman directed the offense with 19 and 12 assists, respectively.

Tori Newton tied Weiseman for the team lead with nine digs, while Smiddy and Hartman both finished with eight digs.

Riley Evans was credited with five blocks in the loss.
