Vulcans fall to Millersville on Senior Day

Results

CALIFORNIA (Jan. 31) – In its final dual meet of the season, the California (PA) swimming team won three individual events while hosting Millersville on Senior Day at the Hamer Hall Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.

NOTES
• The Vulcans (2-5-1) suffered a 161-81 loss to the Marauders in the dual meet, marking the third-straight home event for Cal.
• Sophomore Adeline McCusker reached the PSAC-qualifying mark in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:36.10.
• Senior Ashlyn Hornick earned the victory in the 50 freestyle by over one-tenth of a second with a time of 25.70 seconds.
• Freshman Abby Simpkins touched the wall in 28.03 seconds to win the 50 butterfly, while sophomore Lacey Noble posted the victory in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:01.91.

• Cal is idle for more than two weeks before competing at the PSAC Championships in York, Pennsylvania, at the Graham Aquatic Center from Feb. 18-21.
