CALIFORNIA (Jan. 2) – Led by 26 points from sophomore
Jordyn Buchanan, the Vulcans extended their winning streak to seven games with a 91-72 victory over East Stroudsburg on Friday evening at the Convocation Center in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover play.
NOTES
• California (8-4, 5-0) posted its first victory in the series with ESU since the 2014-15 season.
• Buchanan finished with 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting and five-of-seven from the free-throw line.
• He also tallied six rebounds and six assists while playing 33 minutes.

Bryson Lucas posted 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks and four steals in the victory.

Antoine Arnett registered 17 points and three assists, while senior
Brayden Reynolds collected nine points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals.
• The teams combined for six lead changes and three ties with Cal mounting a 15-2 run to build a 38-27 lead with 2:25 left before the break.
• The Vulcans took a 48-36 lead at halftime after Reynolds made a three-quarter length shot before the buzzer.
• Cal posted a 12-3 run midway through the second half to build a 72-51 lead with 8:23 remaining.
• The Vulcans later led by as many as 26 points, 91-65, at the 1:54-mark.
• Cal set a season-high .597 field-goal percentage (37-of-62) while scoring at least 90 points for the fourth time this year.
• The Warriors held a 46-34 rebounding advantage behind 22 offensive rebounds.
• Cal scored 34 fastbreak points in the victory, which featured six dunks.
