CALIFORNIA (Jan. 17) – The Vulcans struggled from the field and with turnovers in a 69-45 loss to Edinboro on Saturday afternoon at the Convocation Center in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.
NOTES
• California (9-11, 5-5) has lost five of the last seven meeting in the series with Edinboro.
• Junior
Kennedy Bankett led the team in scoring for the fourth-straight game, as she finished with 15 points.

Alicia Young posted 13 points, two blocks and two steals, while sophomore
Hope Hawkins added 12 points and six rebounds.

Kimaya Williams led the team with 10 rebounds to mark her eighth game this season with double-digit rebounds.
• Edinboro held a 16-11 lead at the end of the first quarter before limiting Cal to just six points in the second quarter.
• The Fighting Scots posted a 38-17 lead at halftime after holding the Vulcans to 7-of-22 shooting (31.8 percent).
• Cal limited Edinboro to only eight points in the third quarter while trailing by a 46-31 margin.
• The Fighting Scots held a 20-point lead for the final six-plus minutes of the game, leading by as many as 26 points, 69-43, in the final minute.
• Cal finished the game shooting 35.3 percent (18-of-51) from the floor and was held under 50 points for the third time this year.
• The Fighting Scots finished with a 36-27 rebounding advantage and forced the Vulcans into 24 turnovers.
